About TTR

Hi — we’re The Toasted Ring, a small-batch bakery built on good carbs, sweet moments, and a whole lot of heart.
 

This bakery grew out of a season of change. After leaving the corporate world to work from home and homeschool my son, XJ, our kitchen became more than just a place to cook — it became a classroom, a creative space, and a place where confidence could grow.
 

XJ is 11 and autistic, and baking started as a way to practice math, coordination, and patience. Measuring cups became math lessons. Mixing and pouring became skill-building. And somewhere between watching dough rise and frosting cakes, he fell in love with cooking and baking.

What began as learning turned into joy… and then into this.

Today, The Toasted Ring is a place where bagels, muffins, and mini cakes are made in small batches with intention, creativity, and teamwork. XJ helps brainstorm flavors, test recipes, calculate costs, and even research new ideas and opportunities. What started as learning through baking has grown into real-world business skills; from problem-solving and planning to understanding how a small business actually works. Watching him grow through baking has been one of the sweetest and most rewarding parts of this journey.
